WORLD HUNGER

Esmeralda's Philosophy
Social justice means to me that justice should be served those who don't have the voice to for themselves. That even though there are people who won't stand up for themselves there's others that put everything aside to help them, it is unfortunate that people who are not aware of their rights don't know what they can do with just speaking up but there's some that do and even if we're not living in the same situation as them we know that it is injustice and we do whatever we can to help them. Social justice means to stand up for what you believe in even if others disagree, to stand up for those who can't help themselves. What we believe is injustice motivates us to speak out for those who can't not, even if they're not human we help ideas get spoken about social justice is not just about helping just humans we can help other living organisms such as animals or even those who have passed.
World hunger has been around since anyone could remember, it is an important issue that unfortunately still exists today. It is unfortunate that even children have to go through, my personal experience is going to Mexico and realizing that there isn't a lot of children with the same luck that I have. It was very sad watching little kids trying to earn money by making music sewing and also asking for help. There is one little boy who was about four years old without any shoes and pleasing if we could give them anything to eat because he was hungry, at that point I realize how everyone's story is different. I never knew that in Mexico people suffered from hunger. I'm may sound ignorant but I really didn't know that in Mexico you were also exposed to seeing people with hunger I thought that hunger came from other places like in South America. We have not reached social justice in this situation because not many are aware of how hectic this situation really is. There are some that wouldn't even want to know because it doesn’t interest them, but it is important because anything could happen to us and we can end up just like that. Our future is not set, we can have up and downs and stay at downs for a while before rising again.
The struggles I see are that even when people know that they do not have as much resources to be having more kids, they still reproduce as if they did have something to offer their children. It is very important to know that children are going to suffer, that children are going to live in horrible conditions. We have to take care of our future generation, I believe sometimes it is their parents fault for bringing them into this life knowing they were going to suffer. The more I think about this topic the more I know that in the future there is going to be organizations and churches I would help these poor kids. I know this is going to be world wide struggle that everyone is going to want to help in. I just believe everyone has to be put in their shoes to analyze what they have to go through everyday.
My role is to help those in need, to go to organizations in my area and ask people why are there in that situation, to get to know people and to try to help them out grow the situation. It wouldn't have to be a cycle for those who are having kids or for those who have kids and are going to the same path. I believe it is important to understand the situation before judging it, before judging the people that we may think are lazy, that they don't want to work. We do not know why they're in that struggle and I feel like it is important to understand why they're in the situation without being judgmental.
