WORLD HUNGER

ACTION PLAN
JAMILETH BELLIDO
Many actions can be taken to stop hunger not just on a local level but also on a national and even global level. You can start of by taking little steps and work your way up to taking bigger actions. You can start off by practicing to not waste food at home. For example finish everything in your plate and don't throw away foods that may look ugly to you but are completely edible. Also you can end hunger locally by donating canned goods for example like local churches, soup kitchens, shelters, and even government organizations will take donations of food to distribute it to the needy. In addition you can spread the word by having other friends, family or other community members do the same. Also donating to charities like Heifer International, they donate farm animals to people in need, allowing them to start producing their own food so that they are not only relying on donations. Another Charity could be Water. This charity provides clean water to communities, meaning that not only can they drink safely, but that all of their food can be made more safely as well.
In addition to taking these actions, I would do my part by completing a study for my Ap Statistics class that will answer My research question: “Does a visual or written representation of a world hunger issue have an impact on high school students?” This research question is connected to my Fire Project topic because the topic i am focusing on is world hunger. I am researching about how world hunger starts how world hunger has improved or unimproved over the years and what are simple steps to take to help this world wide issue. This research question will help me learn more about how the youth in specifically the little village community feel about world hunger. In more specific what type of representation will best work on 9th to 12th graders about world hunger and if a visual representation or a written representation makes the student take action
